All Dog Moda crochet snoods are carefully handmade in house. Majority of our customers prefer to custom fit and design of made to order snoods.
Cotton crochet snoods are made from highest quality 100% mercerised cotton yarn produced and sourced in the UK. Compared to normal cotton mercerised yarn is softer, stronger, longer lasting with a slight sheen to it. This reduces the friction against your dog's hair protecting that long ear coat.
Crochet snood is ideal for long coated breeds with long ears and / or ear fringes which can get in the way and into food and water bowls. Unlike common tight fitting elasticated snoods made from synthetic fabrics, handmade crochet mesh fabric design is not only lightweight and comfortable for the dog to wear, it also allows better air circulation and is more comfortable for the hound.
Crochet cotton snood can be customised with contrasting edging, tassels, beads, colour stripes and flowers and we are happy to discuss any individual requirements you might have.
We normally have a limited selection of snoods for both big and small hounds available from stock - these are listed for sale as individual listings.

How to measure for dog snoods - Dog snood measurement guide
Please measure your dog as shown on the diagram. A to B measurement will give you neck size circumference, and A to C measurements is the length of neck.
Please add a few centimetres if you prefer your dog snoods to be on the long side.
It takes time to make a good dog snood and on average there is a 2-week waiting time for all made to order dog snoods.
